Der "Dog of the Year" Preis wird ab 2018 immer am Ende der Saison, im Rahmen der Europameisterschaft, verliehen und geht an den Hund mit den meisten erreichten APA-Punkten innerhalb der vergangenen Saison. 

The "Dog of the Year" award will be provided starting in 2018 at the end of season at the European Championship for the dog with the most APA season points.
